wmburrow Mike Burrow, writing under the pen name of wmburrow, is the creator of HAWKWIND literary magazine. Mike has more than 25 years experience as a journalist, serving as reporter, editorial page editor, city editor and managing editor of newspapers in Southwest Arkansas and East Texas. He published two separate weekly newspapers and when he was in his early twenties, created and published a quarterly literary magazine entitled EXPRESSION in his hometown of Magnolia, Arkansas. He enjoys creative writing and is currently working on Walden Vision, a novel placed in the Yaak River area of Northwest Montana. Mike has been involved with the internet since its beginning and has harbored the idea of HAWKWIND for the past several years. "I am hopeful that there are other writers out there who are looking for a serious internet outlet for their efforts. Authors, especially new ones, need to see their works in print," Mike said. "We all need that special recognition that comes only from being published." Due to the heavy influx of spam, you can only contact me this way. My email address is wmburrow at hawkwindcreations.com. You have to substitute the word at with the at symbol on the address line. I am unable to use the at symbol in my email address on this page now due to the current craze of stealing email addresses off of Web sites for spam use. Sorry for the inconvenience.
