Tina Hess
A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Ohio until three years ago, I now reside in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Lewisburg is a small old town which happens to be the Walking Horse capitol of the world. It is sixty miles south of Nashville. I, myself, am nearing 30 quickly. I am currently employed as a full time mother and housewife. I am the mother of two children. Taylor, my daughter, is five and my son Hunter is 15 months. I used to never think I would want to quit work and stay home with my children, but I have to now say that being a full-time mother is the best job I've ever had. My children brighten my every day and give my life true meaning and purpose. Writing has been my favorite hobby and
dream career ever since I can remember. Journalism used to be my focus
until I realized just how much of a creative procrastinator I was (couldn't
meet a deadline) and decided to let all that creativity flow over into
poetry and short stories. Today, I can proudly boast of numerous works
of mine being published in literary journals such as Reflections,
Black Creek, and Thunder Sandwich. I am
a big fan of classical literature, especially novels written in the
late nineteenth/ early twentieth century and I hope one day to publish
the novel that deserves the respect those deem.
