INSPIRATIONAL WRITING
|
Barbara Burrow I am originally from Tyler, Texas, and have lived in Houston, Arlington, Dallas, San Antonio, Graham, and have come full circle back to Tyler. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and have worked as a secretary for 33 years. In the past, I have done volunteer work with the Community Service Division of the First Methodist Church of Dallas, at the Women's Shelter in Arlington, Texas and as a tutor with the Literacy Volunteers of America. My interests include reading, cooking, listening to gospel music, movies, going to the beach and visiting the mountains. My husband, the creator of Hawkwind Literary Journal, and I have been happily married for five years. The other members of our family are our pet beagle, Winnie the Pooh, and Cobey, our little min pin. They know they run our household! I have always had a
positive attitude towards life and God's influence in my life has made
this possible. Each day is a new challenge as I try to be a good Christian.
It is very important to me to always make sure that those around me
(my family, my friends, and my co-workers) are happy, and I have always
tried to be the "peacemaker" and I suppose this comes from
being a "middle child".
