Gabrielle A. Johansen
Gabrielle,
soon to be thirty years old, currently resides in Greenville, S.C. with
her handsome husband, Greg, and her terrific cat, Rupert. She has been
writing poetry and fiction ever since she can remember. However, it
was only in the spring of 2001 that she started sharing her work with
the world at large via the Internet.
She loves to read,
everything from speculative fiction to word origin books to Victorian
novels. She also spends a goodly portion of her time directing and acting
with various community theatres. She has a particular penchant for becoming
involved with Shakespeare festivals.
When not playing with
her "boys" (Greg and Rupert), giving blocking notes in the
wilds of the public parks or cooking up some fabulous concoction in
the kitchen, Gabrielle can be found doing her "moderator duties"
at The Critical Poet, where she is known as EllaRain.
